NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TOWN OF CLINTWOOD, VIRGINIA, REGARDING A LEASE OF TOWN PROPERTY TO THE DICKENSON COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY PURSUANT TO VIRGINIA CODE SECTION 15.2-1802
Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall located at 248 Clintwood Main Street, Clintwood, Virginia 24228. This is to consider and allow public comment on a proposed lease of Town of Clintwood, Virginia property between the Town of Clintwood, Virginia, and the Dickenson County Historical Society.
The proposed lease includes all that certain portion of a building owned by the Town of Clintwood, Virginia, known as the former Clintwood High School Fieldhouse Facilities, Clintwood, Virginia, and more particularly described as a portion of the property on record in the Dickenson County Circuit Court Clerk's Office in Deed Book 544, Page 189.
Any citizen, taxpayer, or interested person shall have the right to state his or her views orally or in writing on this ordinance.
A complete copy of the proposed lease is available at the Clintwood Town Hall for inspection by interested parties.
