Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Clintwood, Virginia, will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall located at 248 Clintwood Main Street, Clintwood, Virginia 24228. This is to consider and allow public comment on a proposed ordinance establishing and designating two distinct polling places for the Town of Clintwood, Virginia municipal elections held after January 1, 2022, in accordance with Virginia Code Section 24.2-308.
Any citizen, taxpayer, or interested person shall have the right to attend and state his or her views orally or in writing on this ordinance. A complete copy of the ordinance with proposed changes is available at the Clintwood Town Hall.
